Hi, could somebody tell me if there is anything to look out for on a Japenese imported 1994 Mini Cooper. Any pitfalls or snags to look for.

Hi Vroom,
thanks for your help. the reason for the Jap Mini is that we are selling a convertible due to loosing garage space. (Dont want to leave a soft top outside) so, we have to replace it with another Mini! This just happens to be up for sale in Minimine at Stoke on Trent, so we thought we would have a look.
Cheers,
The blind guy.

You probably won't find any tinworm, it'll be like new underneath. Thats my guess, might not have service history but ask if it does have any Shaken docs (jap mot) check service stickers on engine/door shuts etc.

Hello,

Right, I'm back. my wife and I did not buy the Jap Mini.
There wasn't anything wrong with it, it just wasn't the right one for us. Mini mine is ok, we will be going back there to have some work done. We have bought another Mini, a 1994 Mayfair. Nothing extravigent, but we liked it.
