Hi,

After a bump on North Bridge on Friday I need to choose where in Edinburgh to have my repairs done.

Angel Assistance/Helphire have given me the following options:

1) Seafield Coachworks, Leith.
2) Either of the two Evans Halshaw's in Edinburgh.

Does anybody have any experience good/bad of the above?

Of course the alternative is to find my own repairer then claim the cost back but I'd rather not have to take the financial strain, albeit temporarily.

Thanks in advance,

WI.

Can you not insist on your own choice of bodyshop through the insurers?

(I had a scrape the other day, I've got a thread in here somewhere asking the same and LA posted a suggestion)

Aah..the third last line... wink

I had read that but that wasn't quite what I was getting at. Insurers will generally favour some places and give you those details in the first instance, but you can suggest your own preference and, in a lot of cases, they'll agree.
