I've seen the website for the PistonHeads Show 2008, (http://www.pistonheadsshow.com) which is meant to be running concurrently with Autosport International in January next year, but it doesn't say anything about where I can get tickets. I've searched for tickets in Google and have found a number of ticket agents advertising tickets for sale (http://www.ticketswitch.com/tickets/slink.buy/s.uk_pistonhead_2008  is an example), but don't know if these are official tickets or not. Does anyone know if this is a reputable source of tickets?

Racing Pete is working on a ticket sales function as we speak, we'll have that up this week on the home page.

Tickets are ready to go this week, so the companies you mention will be able to get their hands on tickets soon

Garlick, will we have to purchase the Platium Club Card ticket to gain access to the Pistonhead members only parking area or is 'complimentry parking' stated something totally different?

I'm almost like a child at Christmas - I can't wait to book my tickets! woohoo Anyone planning to go on the Friday?

That link is the official ticket booking page. The holding page at www.pistonheadsshow.com has a link to the booking page and a hotline number on too.
The full website will go live in a week or 2...fingers crossed!

I've already bought tickets for the Autosport International and assume that the PH area is going to be the same as the Top Gear area was last year. Just another hall to wander about for free, nothing too different, just a few more cars and less trade stands.

Having some priority parking area would be handy, but apart from that I can't see why you'd buy a PH specific ticket? Or am I missing the point?

You are missing the point a little. The ticket will allow access between the 2 shows but each has their own identity - the PH show will have its own halls, own advertising camapign, a separate entrance, etc so it is more than just a zone within Autosport. If people buy tickets via the PH route then we know that they are PH-ers rather than Autosport fans.

Will the ticket include parking?

At this stage only Platinum Club tickets include parking in the price. The NEC is responsible for the car parks at the venue so - as with most venues - they will charge.

Sounds just like last year to me, different hall, different entrance, same ticket. With Autosport tickets we get the live arena aswell - is that included in the PH ticket? Makes no odds to me as I've already got front row seats for the 9.30am live show, just thinking of other folk who might buy a PH ticket and then realise what they might be missing out on.

Yes, the PH tickets also get you into Autosport and you will also get a seat in the Live Action Arena. Last year there was only one show - Autosport International - with one entrance. This year there are 2 co-located shows. The new PH show is aimed at the PH crowd so will have supercars, track day cars, concept cars, etc. in abundance. Instead of closing it off we have decided to allow access to Autosport International and vice versa because of the natural cross-over. This show is the start of something huge!

From the autosport-international site you have 3 options. £28 for normal entrance including live show and PH access, £34 for priority seat at live show and viewing of other shows, plus meet drivers etc, £95 for VIP guff like champagne and canapes.

It'll be much more road car focused than Autosport. From what I've heard there are some potential exhibitors that should be pretty exciting (and who wouldn't exhibit at Autosport because the focus is more race stuff). It will have a distinct identity and appeal.

Thanks Ted, i'm going to go to Autosport anyway,
so i guess i may as well get my tickets through PH if it helps you guys build the franchise a bit.

any chance you'll let the sporting bears exhibit?

That's a good idea. Not my call though. I'm only involved on the periphery of that.

Sounds interesting, do you have any manufacturers confirmed to exhibit yet?
