S/S Exhaust and Kitchen Products
Discussion
When I got my S it had a S/S exhaust system, but it was very grubby and the pipes at the back didn't look anything special. However, with the use of a couple of kitchen products, I've got them looking lovely and shiny now...
First up, a wire wool type scourer used to remove stubborn dried-on food from dishes. I used this to remove the worst of the grime from the pipes and reveal the S/S finish with the aid of plain old cold water and elbow grease.
Secondly, stainless steel cleaner from *ahem* Kleeneze used to bring a brilliant shine to those grubby pans. Applied this to the pipes as per the instructions, rinsed off, and was left with a lovely shine.
I'll try and get round to posting some pics, but I thought I'd just share this domestic tip for any of you with grubby pipes. I'm sure that there's probably some proper S/S exhaust polish available from www.stainlesssteelexhaustpolish.com, but it undoubtedly costs 10 times as much!
Happy polishing!
