you can't beat a good turbo charged 2.5
I'd agree with that. As far as I know the service intervals remain the same, although I'd be keeping a much closer eye on the oil and making sure it gets changed every few thousand. Other than that the 2.5 Boxers are bullet proof, sound great and go like stink.
AFAIK the short service intervals on the Evos are down to the fancy differentials they have, but i might be wrong.
Type 25........ the car subaru SHOULD have made!

Does the type-25 retain the service intervals for the standard car? It has been thoroughly messed with after all.
Yes they do.Everything looks as subaru intended, except it is tweek for power and torque of over 400.
The engine alone costs 10K to buy separately.
As you can only get one new for £40K (plus an extra's), a second hand 360 would be a 'cheaper' option. It is arguably the best out of the box evo yet. IMHO better than the EVO400.
T25's are intended for people who do not want to mod, more than additional gauges, wheels, body parts etc.. Everything else is already there and top spec. I have the same suspension on my car and it made a huge difference over standard JDM parts.
As stated above the EVO 4500k service is only really limited to retourqing the diff.
Personally Im waiting for the new T25. (New shape) next year.
