A big thanks to Bobby G and Clarky for all the passenger laps - great fun! This was my first time using my first "proper camera" so they're not the best photos, but you'll get the idea. Canon EOS 350D with standard lens, nothing fancy and TBH I still don't know exactly what I'm doing with it most of the time rolleyes. It was a very nice evening with the weather behaving itself too.

If anyone's after higher resolution (3456 x 2304) let me know. And if you like my pics then please remember I'm available as "ballast" for any future laps biggrin

Best sounding car of the night for me was a certain PHer's big, black (oily eek) Ultima - I just love the noise that makes. But I also loved the old white Porsche, very tasteful and damn quick too. Ah it's good to dream...

Cheers
Ally

I know it got a bit oily at the end and a couple of folk needed a front carwash after, but it's home-made and things do sometimes misbehave [all too often in the case of Ultimas]. Still nothing major went wrong which was a pleasant result.

Yeah I was sorry to hear about the oil issue (I was on track at the time and saw no evidence of it). Glad it's not major smile

Bob: I'm seriously in need of a bigger lens grumpy. I'm just too far away from the action for taking pics at corners at the moment (it's only the standard 18-55mm lens it came with). Quite happy with the sharpness of the pics taken from the pit wall - not bad when most cars are 100mph+ up there... Don't know how (because I was intentionally trying to take pics of anyone who gave me a ride) but I've not got muck of Clarky's Elise, sorry mate!
