Whose is the Griffith with the nose costume at the Growl ?

Certainly looks like something I should invest in ?

Hi johno, the bra on the blue Griff is mine. Not to difficult to make.Any good coach trimmer should be able to put one together for around £200 .Regards,Dave.

mrcosmos (Dave) - good innit?

His mate made it for him but when I spoke wth him at Chatsworth he was reluctant to take it further as he was worried about liability in case it flew off etc. I looked it over but it looked really secure with some heavy duty velcro to secure it...

I will be too Johno. I gave my business card to the owner of the car (Christ, one of these days I will actually remember somebodys name rolleyes) and he is going to get the guy who made it give me a call.
The one on the car at the Growl was the prototype but the manufacturer still has all the templates.
It velcros in place and is a damned neat job. I think it will save loads of heartache after the Le Mans runs.

I'll keep you posted.

Front end re-spray are a consumable with a black car when you do a fair amount of highish speed mileage, namely me !

Whilst it isn't in too bad a condition currently it may be a idea . . .

Let me know how you get on Ian ?

Dave

From the photographs I suggest he has done a first rate job of it.

I am never convinced about how they look, but that works really well. Given I have a black car as well I am encouraged.

I'm with Ian on Monday and I'll see how he get's on.

Having seen a few of your lot, I would imagine a bra would be very beneficial in the handling department hehe

Whilst I fully understand the practical use for such an item I can't imagine ever putting such a Gimp mask on my Griff.

Surely its better to enjoy the beauty whilst you own it rather than preserve a pristine paint job for the next owner. Though why you'd ever want to sell a Griff once you've owned one IZll never know.

Twas a nice job though, if it floats your boat

Good call Moose - its a little like the discussion over the clear plastic stuff - armourshield is it? - you can get for the front of the car. Looks OK on dark cars not so much on lighter ones imho

Gents

Sportmotive and are looking into a clear protective film that is placed over the front.

talked to someone at Le mans with an Aston Martin who had it fitted and he was delighted with the end result.

I am looking to get that fitted to mine.

I fact I think there was a Griff at the Griff Growl with it done on his!!!
