Just been 'hi-jacked' by K13JOB.....
So is anybody else going to the Forrestburn Hillclimb on Sunday 26th?
Monklands Sporting Car Club are usually glad of any additional marshals who turn up.
(+free lunch).
The Forrestburn hillclimb track has some excellent vantage points and there is a good entry of cars for Sunday.

Not sure of all the results, but a certain Davie Reid was very quick to inform me that Lorna Smith no longer held the A2 record, he got it down to 50.13 secs! 49 second run next year then me thinks!

Sports Libre record reduced by 4 seconds although we were all under the old record.

That's the last time Minitici gets to drive the Radical

We put the original carbs back on the car and it is now running like it was last year. All of this season it has only had 3/4 throttle felt like it had no "top end" and when he fixed that it showed that the flatslides were completely out of tune for the old engine as just coughed and died on full throttle!

With the original carbs on it now runs sweetly (and feels quick again).
