At last the boy got himself a Mustang GT in black with silver stripes. About bloody time too! Congratulations, I know it means a lot to you. You can trade it in on the Camaro when that comes out.... wink

bow

Thankyou, thankyou. It's still all a bit surreal as it was an e-bay purchase. I'll link some pics tonight as I can't always do it here at work. The car is still ooop north at the moment (Harrogate) so I'll hopefully be collecting it at the weekend. It's certainly everything I was looking for, so I can't wait to bring it home.

I'd just like to thank everyone for:

A) Your advice and kind words.
B) Sticking with me when it probably appeared I was all mouth and no trousers!

biggrin

It's got most of what I wanted (lowered, exhaust, CAI etc). I may have to look at some 20" wheels, although I'll need to convince the Mrs why I need to replace 17" Bullitts with 20" Bullitts biggrin

Just do it and pretend they were always 20" she will never notice an extra 3" oooeerr rofl
I'd imagine the 17's will sell easily enough. Besides, she probably isn't aware of the new European directive requiring imports to wear 20" wheels as they're safer. Hmmm. Actually the 20" tyres aren't cheap so don't be in any rush.

OK, can't pick it up until a week on Sunday eek

Still, that gives me two weeks to sell the Zed and make some garage space. Despite having a double garage, my 3 yr old daughter appears to have taken over one side with toys!

I'll probably stick with the 17s for now and just keep an eye out for any nice looking 20s. With the suspension drop it doesn't look too bad on the little 'uns.

Shellz, you may well see it around Newbury......although she'll mainly be out at weekends only.

Jeff, your car was certainly an inspiration. I hope you've got locking wheel nuts on your wheels as the temptation might too much next time I see your car wink

It'll be the first thing I do. Other than drive it about 250 miles home from Harrogate!
