As per the title. Can be anything that swims, flys or walks the earth. But must have a cool species name and you need to provide a source.

I'll kick off with my absolute favourite, the Starry Smooth Hound (not what you think).

I think the simple 'DUCK!' is hard to beat. That, and the duckbilled platypus. And the octopus. And anything else with 'puss' in its name (yes, I am aware that it means 'foot' i.e. flatfoot, eight-feet, etc.)

Ba humbugi is a good one - it's a snail from Mba island, Fiji. Turbo is also a kind of snail.

And my personal favourite, the titi monkey. Or maybe the booby.
