Well, after 3 years of work, I finally got the car registered today (it passed the SVA last week). There are enough new parts to class it as a new-build 2007 TVR Tuscan Challenge smile. Yup, that's right, Tuscan Challenge is the model stated in the V5! And 100% completely and fully road legal. Weighed in at 1050Kg at the SVA center, but that was with a full tank of fuel (I think that's 12 gallons or so) plus all fluids. Engine was dyno'd at a smidgin under 500BHP. I think I'll go for a drive now cloud9

That is stunning!

All credit to you, it's a shame that another race car has been taken away from the track, but that is a real beauty.

One thing though. If it's classed as a 2007 car does that mean you have to pay the new "full fat" Band G road tax?

1050kg? ~500bhp? That's going to be a hoot to drive. I hope the seats are wipe-clean. wink

Congrats, William, have fun.

At the rate mine is progressing, it'll be an 09!

Did you have to put cats on it to pass SVA? I'm using a ZZ4 Fastburn and the V5c just says 'TVR' wink

Oh yes yes yes! Not a huge fan of the Tuscan but that is such a monstrously gorgeous beastie. Wanna come out to play? BTW, is that a nuclear power station under the bonnet?!!!

the veyron has a power to weight ratio of 521bhp per tonne. you must be seriously close to that mark.

your car is a thing of beauty, but i hope you know a good tyre supplier!

Willie, its look to slow, you need to do a track day, say Kirkistown next year see how fast it is or slow!!!!!

Health to drive, you have waited long enough, get out there and have some fun....

Is good looking, can you give old Bruce a passenger ride, he's too old to drive one now...
