Anyone know of there whereabouts of an old opalescent blue series FHC coupe in need of restoration. Its registered 3709 PE which is an old 1963 plate probably from Coombes of Guildford. How can I find it, I know about the various vehicle finding websites which are pretty much useless as nobody seems to look at them. The JEC and the JDC have no information on it. It is out there I know as I have a photo of it in a barn and must be able to find someone who knows it. DVLC will not tell me anything as I am not the registered keeper. Help please?

tried all of those thankyou. Not known to any of them as it is not owned by an enthusiast and has not been on the road for about 25 years.

the number plate doesn't tally up with a jag -or any other car - so either your jag had a number change , but definately the number itself has "died"

Hi I know that you will have checked the DVLA website, as indeed I have. It is not registered on the computer system as it was not registered after the 1982 deadline. They will have records but they will be archived and in hard copy. I KNOW the car exists, take that as a given. What I need is to find out the last registered keeper information or a friendly DVLA employee. There must be a way
