Newbie here - north london meets?

Hi all, thought it was about time i put finger to keyboard and get involved.
Does anyone know of a regular local meet in north london or very south of herts?
I gather there is a regular meet geared towards those who work in the city but can't seem to find anything on north london.
I'm beween Potters Bar and Hatfield with easy access to barnet, enfield, finchley etc.
