Radiator Dimensions?
Discussion
I'm thinking of having an aluminum radiator made to shave some pounds off of the front of the car. Would anyone have accurate dimensions (length, width, thickness) of the factory supplied unit? Also, what size are the ins/outs, 38mm? Thanks in advance!

805 X 303 X 103 with 37 Dia. pipes.
Don't forget this lays at an angle in the front frame and the top edge of the rad. is very tight to the underside of the front bodywork. In my case I needed to relieve an area of the secondary glass fibre moulding inside the front so mine would clear.
I don’t believe there is any scope for making the rad any thicker unless you make it shorter which would probably defeat the object. Alternatively you could set the bottom edge down through the frame but that would only gain you an inch. Any more than that your rad would be the first thing to hit ‘Sleeping Policemen’

Something else to consider is the safety factor. Ted pointed out the factory radiator is part of the front crush zone, and an energy absorber during a frontal impact. Maybe question if an aluminum one will perform similarly? I was considering the same for my future GTR before I visited the factory last weekend. Probably will use the factory kit, but still open to other possibilites for mine.
