Starter Motor

Hi Folks,

Anyone know if it's possible to change the starter motor on my Taimar without having to take the exhaust headers off. Got to change it soon as it is turning over slower each time I startup.

Are you sure it's the starter motor and not a bad earth as I had a similar problem on my Scimitar. Cleaned up all the earth straps where they connect to the chassis, engine, battery etc. and cured the problem.

I seem to recollect managing to wriggle the starter out on my 3000S without removing the manifold but then again that could have been on the Scimitar.

Am going to check that first, just don't want to take the exhaust off if not needed.
