The LDV6 should be fine I think thats what I have in my tasmin.

this one

you want 3" straps all the way round, and I'd recommend a 6 point. I think you can get away with a 4 point in a fixed head car but open top you need 6 point.

Remember they are lifed, and once it's 3 years (IIRC) from the date of manufacture printed on it, you can't race with it (or is that only for FIA).

They have a 'not valid after' date printed on the labels, so just need to be within that date

Its 5 years - although depending when you buy them you could conceivably get 6 seasons out of a set. The one's I bought this year for the Sagaris are not valid after 2012.

I use the LUKE ones sold by Corbeau. I would only ever use 6 point with 3" shoulder and lap straps. The moustache style crutch strap is a little more comfortable for the old undercarriage

After taking the car apart, I can only seem to find mounting points at the side of the seat, where to you fit the other 4 points.

Thanks

There should be somewhere on the rollcage behind the seat back for the shoulder straps, or if there is a horizontal roll cage bar across the car the previous owner may have wrapped the belts around there. Depending on the length of the crutch straps, you can often use the side mounts for buth the lap and crutch straps

MMM I only drove Kev's car once, and cant remember 100% but he may have only had a 4 point harness. IIRC you only have to have a 6 point if your running open top, so can get away with a 4 point, although I wouldnt.... but maybe Im just kinky <LOL>

Had a four point in my old Taz, I think it's pretty much standard Moore Racing equipment. The 3'' straps were up to the job on a couple of occasions and I felt comfortable so I now have a TRS version of the same harness in the T350.

Ah yes I get you now. your missing the mounts for the shoulder straps as well ( i really should read everything !!!)

SOunds like as Andy said the harness used by Kev was one of those that looped over the horizontal bar in the rear hoop on the roll cage

No need, just buy the type of harness that wraps round the roll cage bars rather than the ones with clip on fittings.

Have you bought a harness? because normally when you do it will come with all the fittings. If you havent do as Andy Suggests and get a harness that wraps over
