Are there any programs available that allow for postcode allocation on a digitised map of the UK.
I need to place territories upon a map to see them pictorally rather than showing the infromation via data (ie Access, excel)

your help is greatly appreciated

Google Earth? If you can work the data into the right format (KML) then you can plot dots on the map with that.

MapPoint from MS will do this quite nicely, if its a sales tool type thing you are after, i.e plotting sales by region etc etc.

If its a deeper GIS system, like constructing a Local Authority Gazette of housing stock, then you may need something a little more.

Google Earth and the Local.live.com are great for one or two-offs, but not great for multi-thousands. Or the bloody PH WhereAmI maps things would work correctly. grr.
Pete, if you stumble on this grr, tis only a little one, as the only reason for knowing where people like Vixpy are is to avoid the devil. And the maps dont do realtime tracking.
