What's the point if you can clean them fully while on the car....this is quite easy, with a proper wheel brush etc...that would be a lot quicker than jacking the car up each side, and removing and refixing bolts, then torquing........

Insurance risk. If you drove down the road and a wheel came off who would you be calling for the repair/damages?
