can anyone recomend a decent insurance company for my Chimaera, n/u quoted £1.2k, 40 y/o . Think ill have to use my full ncb on my bm for this one,and get a cheap group one runabout.! Ba.

There are 3 or 4 good ones through the TVR club if youre a member.

Im with Peart Associates (01539-730666) and they are sub £500 which is what most people pay with full no claims ....unless you are a young pup in his 20s.

Good luck but its definately worth shopping around.

As im 21, i pay £1k insurance, but I have heard that Aon were quite good, and www.quotelinedirect.co.uk, i was with them before i got the TVR, fair price. Hope this helps.

AXA are quite good, I got insured for less than 1k aged 28 9 yrs NCB but with points.

I use Peart Associates. £500ish fully comp for 98 Chim 450 on restricted mileage of 3.5k pa. Thirtysomething with full no claims.
