Hi everyone,

Looking for someone to rebuild my 1600 xflow, tweak it a bit perhaps.

In essex area, engine is out of car and i can deliver.

Much rather use someone recommended then from say yellow pages.

So, if any one knows of a good company then please, let me know.

Pete,

Specialised Engines did my Pinto and did a cracking job of it, I think the boss's name was Ian.

Pete,

No problems http://www.specialisedengines.co.uk/index.html

Give them a bell as their website's a little out of date.

Well, just thought id post about my dealings with Specialised engines.

From my first phone call to collecting the car last week i cannot praise them enough.

Went for a stage 2 rebuild on my old smokey 1600 xflow, its fitted with an auto box so decided stage 3 a bit too much.

Engine looks great, sounds/runs great, they sorted out a few other issues while there, kept me very well informed of all that was needed and time scale.

All in all a damm fine company, rare these days.Ian is the boss mans name, top bloke

Just been and picked up the new rad/cooler from pro-alloy, another quality set up, im going to be a busy boy over xmas.
