Theres mine from the puma, complete with wrinkled bit on the left, I assume the previous owner left the heater on the scorching hot setting for a bit too long. Its got leather bits on either side but crappy plastic at the top and bottom.

So what does everyone else cling onto each time they go for a drive?

more likely that it's hand cream that did that, got the steering wheel on the mini changed for a similar fault

I was keen to continue my tradition of buying the last car built before a nice interior spruceup when I bought my 5, (Previous Mondeo was built 1 week before the spec increased hugely) so I've got the ugly old M Sport wheel not the sleek nice one that replaced it.

Although I have just realised the only picture I have showing the steering wheel is rubbish.

So, this post pretty much fails all round.

Although here's another from some random Yanks car, showing the excessive size and general naffness:

I think I may replace it with the newer one at some point.

That was the first thing to be removed, now replaced with a tidy, totally hidden Bluetooth CK-7W biggrin

A 60's one of those. It's horrible to use. I want a fat leather one pronto. Woodrims look lovely but do not add up to a nice control IMO.

Nope, under the stereo and above the heater unit. Bags of space becuase it has the crappy BMW Business head unit.
