I appreciate it may be tantamount to sacrilege in some eyes, but is there any mileage in merging the Griff and Chim forums?
There are so many similarities, the mechanicals being (mostly) identical, I for one would find it much easier to keep up if they were combined. It can be a PITA sometimes keeping track of the two forums. irked

I take it all back already - is this typical of the Chimp owning fraternity? wink

Does this mean we Chim owners would be obliged to wear medallions and 70's porn star moustaches?

Cerb Owner: I'M a Cerb owner and I look down on them because they are Griff and Chim owners. I know my place.

Griff Owner: I'm A Griff owner. I look up to him because he has a Cerb and I look down on him because he has a Chim. I know my place.

Chim Owner: I'm a Chim owner. I look up to both of them. I know my place.

Like the true cowards that we are, we prefer hurling insults across the fence. Put us all in the same cage and we'll skulk about, tails between legs, avoiding eye contact & snarling quietly.

As things are, .mark occasionally wanders over to the Griff forum, insults us and then runs away!
wavey Hi, Mark! How are you doing? Saw a blue Chim on the A3 twice yesterday on way to & from work, thought might have been you.

yes

There are arguments for and against.

For: They're basically the same car underneath.
Against: They're not the same car.

I don't think many Griff oweners will be interested in endless threads about how many sets of golf clubs they can get in their car. Much better talking about chest wigs.

lol - howabout :-)

Cerb Owner: I'M a Cerb owner and I have convinced my other half that it’s as practical as an MPV because it has 4 Seats. Secretly I wish I could take the roof of though

Griff Owner: I'm A Griff owner. I believe I am the pinnacle of the species’. Everyone else is more common or has an engine made of cardboard (don't mention worn Camshafts and snapped cranks though)

Chim Owner: I'm a Chim owner. I have exactly the same car as a Griff owner except I paid half the price.

Tuscan Owner: My car is not a form of ancient medievil transport as the other guys cars are and is powered by a race derived engine, though I swear that rattle wasn't there yesterday
