yeah i have a friend (who doesnt have any inviteson his aco) which downlods about 650kbs ..... and has downloaded over 116 GIG

plenty of their files coming thru all the other sites, better seeded by then as well and no silly rules to worry about, but it is good to give back what u get

Torrents are for losers.

I've gotten just over 500GBs this month alone (1080p stuff tends to be heavy on the bandwidth!), with ZERO up. And all on-demand, 24/7, maxing my bandwidth whenever I want.

Yeah. I'll email out the invites when they are back up. Rumour is that they've gone off for a few days due to copyright threats etc... but they'll be back soon.

Be is a very good ISP in this respect. Even if you aren't one of the fortunate souls that can get the full 24Mbit download, then you will almost certainly get the full 1.3Mbit upload. Which, for torrenters, generally proves to be much more important than download speed. That is more than 5 times the standard ADSL uplink rate. No channel shaping with Be either.

I don't use them myself, as I've had no trouble getting what I need from torrents so far... I just tend to get the odd CD to try out, the odd series of lost/wire/sopranos which are never short of seeders.
