There's a posting over on NFLUK from somebody who got an email from Ticketmaster about a limited amount of tickets going on sale. So looks like you info is correct.
I was lucky and got tickets in the first lottery draw that they did. I think their plan was always to do 2 or 3 lottery draws from the people that registered and then any tickets left would go on general sale.

How can there be any left ??? Thet said they could have sold out 3-4 times over

I presume not everybody took all the tickets they could have. I could have had upto 6 tickets but only took 3.
Be glad when the tickets actually arrive, my tickets for the NHL hockey at the O2 Arena this weekend only arrived at the end of last week.

Tried to get some more for friends just now and nothing. Couldn't even get 1 ticket on the ticketmaster website at 10am for any seat at any price !!!
