I have been looking for an untouched Metro Turbo for ages. I have been to all that major sites, but just can't find one. I think they are becoming extinct.

You will struggle to find an unmolested or non-rusty car.

Most are stripped by the mini guys for their engines to convert their mini's.

Also given on Ebay the engines can fetch silly money, it becomes uneconomical to repair the cars.

It's not a turbo though...

It's a shame really - 4 years ago when I started to rebuild my Mini, you could pick up a MG Metro for £50 as a runner (but rotten - like I did) or a decent runner for £400, and the turbos from £100 to about £1000 for a minter. Now they're all rare as a very rare thing!
