A Noble thats for sale in the classifieds with a dealer had a big crash today. Hopefully nobody was badly hurt as the passenger compartments of both cars were intact, however the Police closed both sides of a dual carriage to investigate. So funny, this copper was running around shouting "no photos, stop taking photos to all the onlookers", when its on public property and everybody was about 100ft away already. They also had about a zillion of those BlueBand pretend plods securing the tapes etc, looks like most of those are rejects from the Lolipop lady school(actually they have less power).

I've got some photos if you want to see them , just not sure where to upload them.

The Police would normally ask people not to take photographs if it was a fatal or serious accident and the relatives hadn't yet been informed. This prevents them from finding out by seeing the photographs on the internet if they've been posted by some insensitive idiot prior to them being informed properly by a family liason officer.

So no - probably best you don't post any pictures thanks.

The passenger cells of both cars were INTACT, however the road is still closed (maybe last 4 hours) so possibly somebody didn't have a seatbelt on/kids loose in the car.

In that case, it will definitely be a serious or fatal accident, so it would be best if you don't post up the photographs.

The roads round my way were definitely a bit funny today... they looked dry but seemed to have wet levels of grip... gave the Caterham a full squirt in second gear at one stage, and the back end went doolally, which it certainly wouldnt do in the normal course... Hope all were OK in the Noble...

If you're very tall, and unlucky with the direction of impact, you can hit your head hard on the roll-cage in the M12. frown

According to unofficial local reports pedestrians were involved who were in the central reservation of the dual carriageway.

I'd estimate some time around 3pm. I passed by there about 4pm there were no ambulances/fire service in attendance, only the Police measuring/taking photographs.

It was at this junction, southbound carriageway.

By a circuitous route so cannot guarantee complete accuracy......

Noble driver was critical - now stable.

Two occupants of other vehicle on life support.

The other car, a Clio I think wasn't that badly damaged, both cars had the doors open. Maybe the two critical were pedestrians as there was a lot of damage to railings/crossing at that point in the road.
