Hi all,
I'm looking for a new monitor, ideally 21 or 23 inch, better yet if it's widescreen.
I'm currently using a few of the 19 inch samsung LCD's which for a long while have been great and provided impeccable service, so if there's anything that can provide as good if not better on a bigger screen I'd be most interested to hear recommendations as I'm somewhat out of touch with what's hot and not at the minute.

Cheers,
Stu

Picked up a Samsung SM226BW a couple of months ago and have been very impressed. Very good picture quality and nice and stylish. You should be able to pick one up for ~£220 I think....

Or like me, you can the the SM206BW (20 inch version, same specs and resolution) for about 170 quid!

I love both of mine. wink I have a 2407FPW and a 2407FPWHC. Frankly I wish I hadn't bothered with the HC as the colours are a bit different to the "normal one" - I thought it would just be a sharper display. Anyone wants to swap a 2407FPW for my 2407FPWHC let me know!

I also love my Dell 2007FP. Am I greedy, three monitors on one PC? And I still have one spare DVI connector on my dual nVidia 8800 Ultras. wink

I think Dell use Samsung panels BTW, and they seem pretty good quality. the 2407 (and others) have a nice swivel facility so you can use them in portrait mode as well, which is useful if you are reading lots of PDF's or other A4 format documents. You do have to rotate the desktop manually though, it doesn't auto rotate like some swivel monitors. They are also not too imposing despite the size as they have thin bezels and the backs are silver rather than black, so they don't dominate the office like some larger screens do. Just don't buy them from Dell unless they are having a promotion, you can get them cheaper elsewhere.

I'll second this. Have had mine about 6 months, very very pleased with it.
