On a similar vein to the PH Globe Inn meet, I was wondering if anyone would be up for a party at the same pub in the coming months?

I know a couple of people that would be up for this already (from Pistonheads) and now we're trying to gauge what dates people would be free??

The idea is that a large group of us meet at the Globe Inn and have a party until the wee hours hehe

The Globe can legally serve up until 1am, throwing out time 2am

It would be great if we could get a decent size group of people so we can make this a proper party atmosphere party

Anyone who would be up for this, please add your name to the thread or drop me an email if you're wanting more info wink

I thought it would be a cracking idea to get a party going, everyone get together, have copious amounts of booze and have a generally good time yes

Thankfully my missus doesn't really drink so any alcoholic pursuits usually mean I get chauffered home although the conversation in the car may not be harmonious depending on what state I'm in or what comments I've made biggrin

What's the general consensus surrounding complete noobs attending such things?
Especially noobs who don't have stunning cars, or know much about cars in general.

Everyone's a noob once, get your name down and you'll be made welcome.

ETA.
This party lark sounds like it could be a messy affair resulting in a mahoosive hangover, memory loss and 2000 calories of alcohol. I'm in!!

If everyone suggests a date then we can see when everyone is available

Probably best to avoid the xmas/ new year period for obvious reasons - plus we are having a PH night out anyway. So i would suggest mid to late november if we want to do it this year? Gives enough time to organise and most peoples diaries should still have plenty of space. Otherwise might need to wait till January? Personally im free for any time.

ETA: do need to avoid btap though

That was the initial thought

Avoid BTAP, avoid xmas drinks (as Im going to see Porcupine Tree the day after and I want to be fresh)

We have the PH meet and hoon on October 27th so thats another date down and certain people are said to be on holiday sometime in October so its planned around them biggrin

For a bit of a laugh, I bought a cocktail shaker and we're printing off some recipes so we can experiment a little hehe

I'm a maybe then, all depends on date since I may either have no childcare and/or money on various weekends.
Out of interest, is there an average age of Yorkshire PHers? I have no idea the type of people I am likely to meet.
Something else to consider too, does everyone stay over somewhere in Huddersfield? It's too far away for me to get home at daft o'clock and I don't like leaving early smile
