Thought I'd solved my drive problems. I should be so lucky!

CD/DVD drive is happy to read discs with data on them, but if I insert a blank CD and click on the drive letter ( E:/ in this case) to open a window for dragging files to for writing to the cd, all I am getting is an error message popup, with the message E:/ is not accessible incorrect function.

Anyone got any ideas?

Assuming it's a CD writer (sorry but experience forces me to double check these things hehe) then right click on it in my computer, properties, and theres a box to tick in there to tell windows that you'd like to use it as a CD recorder. This should fix the behaviour.
