Hi guys,
I'm 19 and decided to join the IAM after reading here, and listening to my Dad. Plus lower insurance is a bonus.
As I am under 25, it is only £65 and from that I understand I get a few leaflets, and some observed drives (Christ knows what habits I have got in since passing) and a few other bits & bobs.
Its been almost a week now, and I haven't heard anything, no emails, leaflets etc. But I've been charged.
Anyone else had a wait?

Depends on how busy the group is.
Presuming you sent your stuff off to London they will then pass on the info on to your local group who will then contact you once they have a free observer. I wouldn't panic but if you've not heard anything in say another week maybe worth a call to IAM London or your Local branch just to confirm.
