Very oddly I was just reading http://www.yorkpress.co.uk/news/yorknews/display.var.1738751.0.council_takes_foie_gras_off_the_menu.php
and thinking that some internet types would see that photo in a different light.

But let me guess, they're still happy for an animal to be bled to death, unaneashetised for Halal? rolleyes

I must admit I have slight reservation about fois gras too, but I think the double standards shown on these 'animal rights' issues is laughable. Anything seen as elitist is fair game if you'll pardon the pun.

I reckon they've selected the wrong model there.

Kate Moss could benefit from some force feeding.

Or you could fill it full of coke and stick it up her nose.

Either way works for me, really.

IIRC it's already banned in New York.

Lovely stuff though, not the pate, the proper job.

And yes, she is filth.

So have York also banned:

White Veal
Broiler Chicken
Polish Pork Products

etc etc etc

I'd wager not, this is something thats clearly targeted at a certain demographic.

I want to see what trick she's going to perform next with the bottle of bubbly...

...Oh, and if I understand this right, it's only a symbolic ban with no standing in law?

I thought this too. And also that washing line would have been better. Less chafing.
