Air filter!

I know this sounds a bit 'boy racer', but would anyone recommend changes to the air filter?

If your talking about say putting a K&N filter or something similar on the car in the hope of increased performance like say on a saxo, I wouldnt bother.

Tvr have alrady done the all of the easy bits to the car to get more bhp. As standard they have a cylindrical foam filter mounted in the nose. I really cant see that you would get any improvements by replacing this. Just make sure the foam filter is clean and not clogged (it can be cleaned if it is anyway)

Replaced the filter on my 5L and it did make a fair difference, but only because the old one was in such a poor state.

TVR fit the foam filter on price, there are better filters although the foam isn't too bad when clean, best to wait until filter is due to be changed then upgrade to say a K&N.
