Tool Kit and Combined Alarm and Key Fob
Discussion
Hello,
Well I finally did it. Picked up my Chimaera this morning. Boy is this some car! . Still cannot seem to wipe that stupid grin off my face .... People must think that I am totally fg !!
Any how, a few questions...
1. How come the car has no tool kit save for the jack/tyre iron and T_bar thing? It the tool kit on the TVR-CC web site worth getting?
2. Has any one bought the TVR Meta Alarm/Key Combination form TVR? If so is it any good? More to the point, can I "make it at home with a smalll aubergine" ??
3. Finally, what kind of bag/container is most suitable for the boot to carry around an assorted collection of tools so that it takes the least amount of space? (I used to use a Sainsbury's basket in the BMW, but the Chim's boot ain't big enough for that, the roof and (at least) one change of undies!!
TIA

Just wrap whatever tools you need in the change of undies and the grease/oil stains will at least cover up any evidence of *WHY* you needed the change of undies in the first place.

Seriously, I got a very nice heavy duty nylon soft tool case by "RubberMaid" (leave it!) from Halfords. It is held closed by velcro straps and opens out like a traditional metal tool box but with lots of zipped compartments and pockets. Also quite compact and happily fits in the boot even when occupied by a roof (and presumably enormous pants )
