The regular used car buying guide by Jason Dawe (ex Top Gear) in the Driving section features the Griff 500 this week. It includes a price guide from CAP black book which seemed pretty accurate based on my recent experience of buying.

Nice quote "Short of riding a racehorse blindfolded through a forest there are few experiences that can both delight and terrify as much"

With big disc brakes all round and only 2,340lb to halt, brake wear is not particularly high.
True, were it not for track days!

Is that the racehorse or the rider that's blindfolded?

And: "TVR customers... ...went wild, so watch out for loud body and trim combinations and don’t buy anything hoping that the colour will grow on you — it won’t."

Thanks for reminding me of this. I had put the paper aside for Mr Big to read (He has been away in France on a Stag Weekend) and had forgotten all about it.

Just got myself another 30 minutes peace and quiet while he reads it

Edited to add - perhaps this wasn't a good idea - he is now reading the whole thing out to me
