Finally got my hands on a tvr, well half of one anyway. The chassis is being delivered next week. Just thought I'd post this on here as I know you chaps are a vast encyclopedia of imformation which I will certainly need over the next couple of years. The plan is to produce a unique cerbera but not straying away from the striking original design. Most of the wiring loom is in there aswell as the meta immmobiliser and alarm system.

I'm down in dorset, is there anyone local with a cerbera I could cast my eyes over as at the moment all the parts are a bit of a puzzle?

First question,is there a wiring loom diagram available?

I would appreciate any feed back or comments.

Thanks Simon

Wiring (amongst a host of other stuff) is available from Byker's website. Good luck with it, what engine are you going to go with, assume from your comments it won't be a stock AJP found under the bonnet once done biggrin

Edited to actually add link to Byker's website..not very useful post without it

Is that not that car that only had 3/4 of a chassis with it?

Thanks for the feed back. The link at the top of the page is exactly what I'm looking for, but is it just me or that some of the imformation on the pages won't load up. Can someone just check to make sure cheers.

The engine I'm looking to fit will be a LS V8 with appropriate gearbox, the diff is a good question. I have read that the hydratrak diff has got a mind of it's own so what diff would you chaps suggest as a replacement?

The garage is not mine, it's my parents place, I have no more garage space at the moment.

Diycerb I will definately come down for a visit, I'd like to see how your engine transplant is coming on.

And yes that is the car with 3/4 of a chassis, I'm going to fabricate a completely new chassis as the car has no V5 so I will have to build as new as possible and go through an SVA, you are allowed two major parts of the build to be reconditioned as new to get a new plate. I'll get to that when I need to.

Regards simon

So, after nearly five years the cerb has been resurrected, not to everybodies taste but it looks awesome in the flesh, just what i was hoping from. Only a few more little jobs to do. Will be booked in for a vic check sometime next month.

Thanks mate, I'm not totally sure about them either. They look to big, like the oval but need to be smaller.

I remember seeing this thread some time ago. I think it looks great. I'm so used to seeing my cerb (same colours) that originally it looked odd but I think it's been done really well.

I'd love to hear it running.
