Battery charger/conditioner

Two weeks under cover and the bloody battery is flat again! Just as I was about to take it for it's MOT (although the thick buggers that booked it in have no record of doing so, so when I called to cancel they's actually sort of done me a favour).

I have an Accumate on the TVR, hardwired into the boot. Is there a clever way to connect up similar to the '5? Can't use the cigar lighter as that isn't a permanent live.

Just wires into the boot?
