Just had my Origin B2 installed in my new Subaru STI (57 plate not the hideous new model) when i nail the throttle full chat the laser detector goes off, i rang Subaru Technical and they baffled me with science something to do with the injectors and pulses i think, previosly it was installed in a 54 plate STI with no problems at all, any one had a similar problem or got any suggestions, i have checked the settings and can see no way to adjust the sensativity. I guess its a good way to stop me speeding but it is insanely annoying. I can turn it off and have and yes then no problem but having paid extra for the detector i would rather use it if possible.

Rip it out and stick false number plates on.

Sorted.

Have you updated the software recently? I dunno, it *may* have something to do with it...

So it's not going off at set areas then? Strange - doesn't happen with ours on the GT4....

ok i have got to the bottom of it apparently the problem is electrical noise which causes the interference so triggering the laser detector with a false alarm Origin were very helpful and sending some supressers to my auto electrician to solve the problem however if this doesnt work it may need rewiring via different route to avoid the problem trial and error i guess.
