Hello all here is the deal, I am 24 and wanted to buy a CTR i have seen one 2003 40k FHSH air con in black, £7000, I am parking it on the road in a good area, and i have 2 years no claims, no points, crashes, etc any good insurers anyone knows of? I have had quotes in at £1200+ fully comp. Wanted it about half that, any ideas peeps? thanks for any responses,

I paid £840 this year for my Integra Type R. That is with only one years no claims (I'm also 24)
That was with Admiral, my original quote was around your figure, but I added my mum and that knocked off £400 cool

Hope that helps.

if you are quoting with admiral, bell, or elephant always include your mum on the policy.

(assuming your mum does not participate in Death Race 2000 type driving).

i would try Bell first.

Forget MoreThan: they wouldn't even quote me and I'm 29, car parked on driveway and 8 yrs NCB - and I'm a member of staff!

Try Egg. I've been with them for a few years and whilst they are competitive on price they've also been very efficient and helpful.

Try A-Plan (sticky at top of forum index) - quoted me £396 fully comp for a DC2 ITR (import) - age 30, 6 yrs NCB, garaged, 10,000 miles a year. Which I thought was pretty good.
