I know it's a bit out of area, but has anyone used Sunbury Tyres?

I have a tyre on the 911 which goes soft every few weeks and need to have it re-mounted/checked and need to know if they're good with alloys.

Not used them but I can recommend Bracknell Tyre & Battery in err... Bracknell. Have had 4 new tyres put on the 911 and no problem with them damaging the alloys.

Yes - have used them on a number of occasions smile

It's simply that Sunbury Tyres are close to work and easy to get to.

I know a few people in our mx5 forum recommend Bracknell Tyre & Battery - they do a good job and are really cheap too, even against internet prices (well they are for our sized tyres!)

Another thumbs up for Bracknell Tyre & Battery from me. Used them for a few years now. The cheapest I have found and no damage to my alloys. You are likely to have a bit of a wait but well worth it.

I've used Sunbury tyres before, I bought a brand new alloy and tyre for my Megane 225, I took it down there and asked them to put their best man on the job as I didn't want the wheel marking as it was brand new, the guy did a great job on it and the wheel was completely unmarked, very reasonable price for mounting and balancing as well.

Thanks - as Bracknell is nearly 25 miles from work I'll stick with Sunbury at a suitable lunchtime.

Had a couple of rears fitted to the Ka - not a particularly clean job, lots of gunk left on the alloys.

But, quick and efficient service, final price was cheaper than phone quote too.

I'm very local to sunbury tyres, they are ok but can be pricey as well as busy. I tend to use Ashford tyre company 123 Feltham Road, Ashford, TW15 1AB. 01784 252121 .

Bit quieter being a one man band and they stock tryes for a local caterham garage and are keen on price, bit hard to find as its behind a small line of shops behind the cafe.
