I've had a few emails over the last few weeks asking how to post pictures, so I thought I'd try and explain it on here.

I upload my pictures to photobucket.com
There are other sites available but I haven't used them, photobucket works well for me.
Just setup a free account and upload your pics.
I will explain using photobucket in my examples.

Assuming you have uploaded a photo or two to photobucket you can then look at your albums.
(Its also worth organising your pics into albums from day one).

You'll get something like this if you look at one of your pics in photobucket.

At the bottom right with the ring round it is the text you have to put in your pistonheads post to make your picture appear. Thats right you do not actually put a picture in your PH post, just a link to your pic on photobucket and it then magically appears in your listing.

When you click on that link it will flash up 'copied' in yellow (again see the pic, and this may not be the same with other pic sites) so all you have to do is go to your PH post and copy the text to it by right clicking the mouse and then clicking 'paste' or CTRL V on the keyboard if you remember life before a mouse.

So for my car pic above I will copy into my PH posting

which won't appear in my listing - the pic will appear instead as below.

Once you've got the hang of it it really is dead easy.

Don't forget if you delete pics out of photobucket then they will no longer appear in your PH posting.

Hope this helps, happy to try and answer any questions.

Now go and get a nice sunny pic of your car, upload it and post it on here to try it out so we can remember what sunshine looks like.

Sorry if I'm teaching some of you to suck eggs.

Chris

Very helpful Chris - I have never really known how to do this and being a lazy so and so allways relied on someone else to post a pic for me.

Thanks
Graham
