Spitfire on the A68

Midday, heading north in the Borders. Minus it's wings on a trailer. Anybody any info?

Not sure what it was up to but I saw it on the M9 around 2ish when I finally escaped the Edinburgh traffic. Looked pretty cool though.

ETA - probably on its way to East Fortune Airfield
