The factory have developed some new slimline headlight backing mouldings that clear 99% and are a huge improvement. These are available for GBP£60/pair plus VAT - NOTE: Now supplied as standard with body kits since the start of October 2007.



Rear catch warning system. To avoid any embarrasing (or even dangerous) moments, the factory can supply a rear catch warning system that illuminates a warning LED in the cockpit if either of the rear clip latches aren't fully secured. GBP£48plus VAT

Ultima GTR and Can-Am Quiet Exhaust Silencer Box Option

-Developed by the factory.

-Reduces noise efficiently - suitable for the most stringent of track day noise limits.

-This is a bolt on additional 3rd silencer which fits all Ultima Factory exhaust systems and works for both the SBC style and the LS style Ultima Exhaust System, direct easy fit to existing exhaust system with no mods required- just remove existing tailpipes.

-Integral tailpipes on new quiet silencer are 3.5" instead of the existing 4.25" so therefore will fit the existing rear grill without fouling even if slightly out of alignment.

-Fully repackable.

-Not found to show any significant/noticeable reduction in power during road testing.

-Will be supplied in mild steel and camcoated silver.

QUIETER 3RD EXHAUST SILENCER

The factory has developed a new style high flow quieter 3rd exhaust silencer. The factory offers a full money back guarantee that the Ultima will pass all IVA noise tests and is also likely to pass the most stringent of track day noise tests with this silencer fitted in conjunction with the standard factory exhaust system.

It has been developed to fit the full transaxle range used on an Ultima

i.e. the G50 type, 996 and 997 transaxles in conjunction with the LS or SBC engines unlike our previous version that fitted G50 applications only.

Please note that all American Speed supplied engines even those over 700bhp submitted for test by the factory have passed the IVA test in terms of emissions and noise utilising the standard factory exhaust system without this 3rd silencer in place

This additional silencer has been a belt and braces approach to satisfy even the most stringent noise test regulations in all countries.
