I need to ask a fellow Pistonheader a favour: during the next couple of weeks I have to deliver a car to Folkstone and then wish to cross the channel on a booze cruise. Thing is I don't really want to have to take my car transporter trailer across with me so would like to leave it somewhere for an afternoon whilst I'm away then pick it up on my way back, say 8 hours tops. So basically I'm asking if anyone in the south east of Kent would have the room in their heart and space on their driveway for me to leave an average sized car transporter trailer (5.5m X 2.3m overall size) a crate of cheap French booze of your choice would be your reward! PM please if you can help, many thanks, Rich.

No just a dead Mondeo diesel although it's looking like I won't need to deliver it now, the joys of selling cars on Ebay!

Rich,

I'm in Dover and would offer the use of my enormous driveway (LOL!!), but it may be a bit tight and is also on a rather steep hill...

I also think I'm the only PH'er around these parts....

Nigel you're a gentleman for offering but again thanks to Ebay another buyer has had the car so it won't need to go to Dover anymore. I still don't get why someone would want to pay to move a dead Mondeo half way accross the country but hey.

Thanks for the compliment Speedy. It's also a bit thirsty being a 468ci big block...!! Just wish it handled as well as it goes in a straight line, not that it's bad, it has 80's Firebird front clip and rear axle with posi!, it's just a big beast to throw around our small and bumpy roads..!!

Sniff,
No worries, glad it worked out for you. If you need any assistance down this way again, feel free to give me a shout if I can help.

Nige.
