Yup. I will be there, 4th year in a row I think this year. Haven't decided on stages yet, but i'm liking the idea of saturdays night stage.

Looking forward to it.

Better get thinking then BigMan. You have 3 people waiting to be told where to go.

Well. preparations are going well, i'm up in Shropshire this weekend picking up essential kit. As for the stages, I reckon the night one (Halfway?) and the Sunday stage we didnt do last year.

I've herd about this night one.

Can we do a Sat morning, a night and a Sunday or is that being greedy?

I'm still to pick up a sleeping bag and then i'm ready to roll.

Shop like we did last time? I'll bring the TomTom One XL <- I went official.

If we do the night stage, we will see it once through on Sat in the light and then again in afternoon when it is dark. Same stage twice.

Yeah bring the TomTom. SWRT are going to be releasing detailed satnav locations (POI's) of the stages next week.

Brilliant. They sound good.

Anyone know of any great photographic locations? Any water jumps or anything? I seem to recall a jump last year but we never made it over.

I've told Fred to nick Holly's Nikon, not that he'll know what he's doing but hey ho.

Yup, there here. Shame about the crappy paper car park passes.

do you guys think there will be plenty of tickets on the gate for the forest stages? i'm a little bit offended at how a £22 ticket turns into £28.50 with card handling fees and postage... >frown

i'm planning on going on saturday, expecting there will be lots if i go early but will be mighty annoyed if i drive all the way to wales and get turned away!

If you get there in good time, you should be ok. Don't turn up a few minutes before the stage starts, make sure its a couple of hours. biggrin

It's our first time going....could anyone furnish us with some advice please.... smile

We have Tickets, and are plannig to go to halfway for the morning, and then epynt in the afternoon, before heading to Cardiff for the special stages....is this do-able? Will there be car parking issues at Epynt in the afternoon or tremendous traffic jams which mean we should stay in one place?

TIA.

from previous experience i'd say stay put - you would struggle with traffic and probably with parking as well. besides, does the saturday ticket give access to more than one stage location?
