Who are these guys???

Never heard of them before. Are they genuine race seat contenders or just doing testing to appease their sponsors???

Hats off to the him - never liked him - but still ..

yep it doesn't mean that much - but he's top of the time sheets and it could of all been done on new rubber and low fuel runs (probably was)

Montagny for Toyota - he's long overdue a drive.

Paffet for McLaren - there was a lot of indecision at McLaren to do with whether Gary or Lewis got the 2007 seat, now they can have both for 2008.

Was there really? I thought that P De La R was the man in the frame, not Paffett.

Didn't Montagny have an (ordinary) outing or two in a Super Aguri or am I thinking of someone else?

I wonder just how light that Ferrari was running...and how much power it had on tap too...but you have to hand it to Schumacher....

No he wasn't, the crap one was Ide who he replaced. It was not a very good car last year and he had limited time but he did very well.

Like him or loath him.......the guy is a class act, look at Valencia last week, 50 odd laps on the factory Ducati MotoGp bike and he was only 1 SECOND off the pace of the Ducati factory test rider and only 3 odd secs off Marco Malandi's lap and within 5 secs of Casey Stoner....eek

Perhaps it was due to the Bridgestone tyres he was using?

Even less than that... There is no way the Kraut would have got back in the car without the team agreeing to a no ballast, fumes, new tyre, ball out run to top the time sheets.

In fact I'd have been stunned if he hadn't have top the time sheets at some point during the 3 days.
