this is going to seem really silly-how do you change an offside tail light on a 2004 ford focus 3 door hatchback .the handbook says remove the torque screw-which i did.then i cant figure out how to remove the light pod.the handbook says nothing about what to do.what holds the screw in is not very strong-i tried using a screw-driver to leaver it out which did not work.i'm a bit stumped i dont want to damage anything-has anyone got any suggestions

There is a peg that holds the light in so if it now feels loose its just the peg holding it in near the top edge, pull gently in the area where its sticking and it should pop out.

Presumably you have removed the fixing on the inside of the boot as well as those on the outside?

Just a thought.

Just the screw and the locating peg.
