My wife has been offered the chance to run her own online E-Commerce website, selling products online manufactured by my employer (model kits, fittings, tools etc)

We tried Amazon webstore, but it appears that’s for US only (they don’t make that clear at all!)

Now, we want to find the best, in terms of ease of use and cost E-Commerce package, somewhere that can allow us to take payments and host our website (which we have to build) We have just bought our domain name, so all we need now is a good suggestion as to which package would suite us, well, the wife.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

Chris

(PS, We are in Italy)

Chris - I'd speak to a PH'er Jamie Beeston - he'll point you in exactly the right direction. He runs this: http://www.register1.net

wink Ta K.

The Register1 VDS Pro comes with OsCommerce 2.2 and support for SSL for secure online transactions.

We also have a stunning developer who is an expert on OsCommerce integration with payment gateways (prot-x/worldpay/google checkout etc) for very reasonable rates with examples online!

Drop me an email via my profile if you'd like to chat this over.

www.creloaded.com (osCommerce with loads of bells and whistles already added) is pretty easy to get up and running, and has some very good search engine friendly plugins.

We offer a very good value ecommerce package called cubecart. Its easy for the store owner to run, and takes a host of payment options.

For a live example have a look at http://www.conachers.co.uk/shop/

and for more info have a look at http://www.geminiwebsitedesign.co.uk/cheap_ecommer...

Jamie's company is the best bet !! cheap and reliable hosting. Currently working on eCommerce software called "osCommerce" which already included in VDS pro package - very easy to use.
