Hi K Brown,
I have raced in Dutch Supercar for 2 seasons now so can answer all you pretty much need to know.
Costs are no different really to Britcar etc. or anything else really.
It is a fantastic championship, friendly and fair. Great tracks, good hospitality - a winner all round really!
You can do all the rounds or speak to Dick and do the ones you choose. Is your an E36 or E46? Just thinking about what class you would fit into. Probaly Sport or Supersport 2.
Races are generally 45mins with some 1 hour. All meetings are 2 races. You can share the drive or do the full distance yourself!

Like Wilbo, I've done 2 yrs of DSC, excellent Championship, excellent circuits and often a decent crowd.
Tyres are subsidised and of somewhat variable quality, entries are discussed above so that really leaves u with running costs in terms of wear and tear on the car and consumables and getting to the circuits/ accom.
I would whole heartedly recommend it, one of the best Championships out there. Although look out for the gypsy in the BMW Compact who won the SS1 division this year... he's not afraid of a bit of assault in the pitlane which meant I drove the last 3 rounds with a broken wrist...
