If you happen to get very drunk one night, and make several large payments on a credit card in a club that a friend got you into (not my idea) for services/drinks that you have no recollection of receiving or have any proof of receiving, do you have any rights? One of these payments was one minute appart, so god knows what I managed to buy and cosume in 1 minute!

Please don't give me the "stupid idiot" type comments as I feel bad enough as it is!
Do you work for the government?

No, you have the right to have a hangover and some man points, but that's about it as far as I know

You could claim you were "of unsound mind" and therefore the contracts you entered into on the night are not valid.

No. It was you. Drunkenness is no defence to anything.

Unlucky.

As an aside, I once had a client who spend 25,000 in a lapdancing bar one night when out of his head. He came to me to get out of it. No chance.

Yes sir. Apparently it got to closing time, and he paid for all the girls in the club to do an extra two hours for just him and his nine mates.

Kerching.

Is this hyperthetical? As in i've got this friend, scratch scratch.

I would say you are obviously concerned that indeed you did not spend the aforemention money... In this case as the credit card company to look into it as you dont remember spending the money. They will send you some forms, make you feel like the guilty party and if you are lucky they may even do something about it. But worth doing if this club doesnt use chip and pin. If it does I think you could be stuffed.....or maybe you were........

Hmmm.

Bear in mind that the services were paid for with your card, your PIN/signature and the club will have CCTV of everything.

I think you're fvcked, sorry.
