? Clutch problem on 2004 1.8TDCi

Hi there,

Couple of days ago I noticed a knocking / grinding noise. The car runs fine no other problems but this noise only appears when depress the clutch pedal. On starting the car the noise isnt there but when switching off I get a squeak type noise even when the clutch isnt depressed.
What do we think this is? Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

Sorry to say it sounds like the dual mass flywheel check the oher posts on here about them.
